Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival Schedule of Events
Thursday – October 18
Noon – 5:00 PM The Box Office will be open outside of Fernwood Resort Event Center.
Friday – October 19
9:00 AM Box Offices Opens outside of the Fernwood Resort Event Center.
Noon – 5:30 PM Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Preliminary Round 1 in the Event Center. Watch as twenty of the world’s best Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs) compete for over $5,000 in prize money and the chance to represent the Pocono Mountains at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held during Elvis Week in Memphis. Each ETA will perform four songs on Friday and four on Saturday. Each day, half the group performs with tracks and half will perform with the Change of Habit tribute band. The top ten will compete in Sunday’s finals. Doors open at 11:00 AM. Tickets are included in the ticket package or can be purchased for $15 at the door.
8:00 PM – 10:30 PM “Tribute to Rock and Roll History” in the Event Center. Enjoy some of your favorite Elvis Tribute Artists performing tributes to other Rock and Roll Legends. This year’s show stars Dwight Icenhower as Elton John, Steve Bobbitt as Rod Stewart and Irv Cass as Tom Jones. Plus 2011 Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival champion Mark Anthony doing double duty as Elvis Presley and Mick Jagger. Doors will open at 7:00 PM. Tickets for the show are included in the ticket package or can be purchased in advance or at the door starting at $45.
11:00 PM – 1:30 AM After Hours Party held in the Astor Room. Enjoy karaoke from the fans and ETAs and get yourself a bite to eat and a bit to drink at the restaurant next door. Admission is free and seating is limited.
Saturday – October 20
10:00 AM – 3:30 PM Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Preliminary Round 2 in the Event Center. Doors open at 9:00 AM. Tickets are included in the ticket package or can be purchased for $15 at the door.
7:00 PM – 9:30 PM Saturday’s Las Vegas-style headline show “Elvis: Half Heaven, Half Heartache,” starring Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist and Heart of the King Award winner Shawn Klush and 2011 Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival champion Mark Anthony. The Event Center doors will open at 6:00 PM. Tickets for the show are included in the ticket package or can be purchased in advance or at the door starting at $45.
10:00 PM – 1:30 AM “Spooktacular” Halloween costume ball to be held in the Astor Room. These parties have become events in themselves! Don’t forget to pre-register to participate in contests. Plus there will be loads of dancing and fun. Food and drinks will be available. Doors will not open until 10:00 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door (seating is limited) and are NOT included in the ticket package.
Sunday – October 21
10:00 AM – Noon Elvis Gospel Music Contest in the Event Center. This event gives our ETAs a chance to perform Elvis’ most inspiring songs. This is a separate contest and the winner will receive the Elvis Gospel Music Trophy. Doors will open at 9:00 AM. The event is free of charge but we do ask that you make a donation to our selected local charity.
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Preliminary Final Round in the Event Center. Doors will open as soon as the room is cleared from the Gospel Contest. Tickets are included in the ticket package or can be purchased for $15 at the door.
7:00 PM – Midnight Wrap Party in the Astor Room. This is your final opportunity to socialize with the ETAs and fans while enjoying more karaoke. Food and drinks will once again be available. Admission is free and seating is limited.
